Dr Lavanya Jayaprakasam graduated from International Medical University, Malaysia in 2007. Since 2013, she has been practicing as a General Practitioner in south eastern suburbs in Melbourne and is experienced in working with various demography of patients in all aspects of general practice.

Dr Lavanya has a special interest in working with young people, thus completing a Diploma in Child Health in 2016. She obtained Specialist GP qualification, Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) in January 2020.

She is passionate about providing quality care for a person’s health holistically, and being their trusted family doctor.

When not working, she enjoys nature and travelling.
